Propane Regulators

Good morning….is anyone up and about yet this morning?? If so, would you have a moment to give advice on propane regulators and service???

They are not serviceable. Replacement is fairly inexpensive even the automatic switchover. Use Teflon tape on the threads into the TEE block. Use a spray bottle of soapy water and make sure there are zero leaks.
Turn on the OPD tanks slowly. you may have to do this multiple times to get the gas to flow properly. Hopefully, the tanks are not overfilled. That creates a headache so rinse and repeat

Make sure its the tape rated for gas not water its usually yellow instead of white.

Be aware that the only threads needing pipe dope or Teflon tape are the tapered pipe threads. The inverted flair fittings should not have any tape or dope applied. The tape or pipe dope, as long as it's rated for propane are equally OK to use.
