362RD tv size

Hi all! I’ve looked all over and simply cannot find the answer I’m looking for so I’ve come to you for help. We are new owners of a High Country 362RD that is winterized currently at our permanent site at a campground near us. We want to upgrade 2 of the 3 tvs in the RV to smart tvs to run off WiFi rather than pay for cable tv service. Here it is almost Black Friday and I’m ready to get the good deals on smart tvs….but I don’t know what size I need!!!!!! Does anyone know what the sizes are in the bedroom and den? Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Depends on what year model you have.
2021 brochure lists 40” or 50” TVs (screen shot below)
I watched a few sales videos and noted that if the TV entertainment cabinet has a 30” fireplace in it - the TV will be a 40” unit.

2022 brochure says they are 50” units.

The brochure does not mention a TV in the front bedroom…don’t know if your unit has one or not.
The TV in my front bedroom cabinet above the dresser at the foot of the bed is a 32”.

You should add a signature with your unit year and model to your post by clicking on USER CP above left…the EDIT SIGNATURE. You will get better answers if the smart folks here know what your unit is.

I replaced the OEM living room TV in our unit with a Black Friday 40” Samsung. The mounting plate on the TV fits the bolt pattern on the Samsung but I had to adjust the mounting height on the back wall of the entertainment cabinet and move it up ~1/2” so the Samsung would close into the cabinet. It was an easy job however.

Don't get hung up on the diagonal measurement, that's the viewable screen size obviously measured diagonally. It seems that the TV manufacturers have been very focused on reducing the bezel size lately which makes the horizontal and vertical measurements smaller for the same screen size, on the LG OLED models, the bezel is almost non existent. For instance, I replaced the 48" OEM in my Monty with a 50" Samsung and it fits perfectly and 50" is a much more common size.

Apparently the VESA size (which is a standardized bolt pattern for TV mounts) changes at the 50" size; no worries, I ordered an adapter plate from Amazon for $20 that just bolts onto your existing mount. I did mount with bolts and locking nuts. One thing the RV industry does quite well is their TV mounts are very robust, I would not recommend replacing the actual wall mount.

Take your tape measure and measure the opening before shopping. Best Buy, Crutchfield, etc all have the overall dimensions on their websites. You might just find that the next larger TV will fit the opening. Who doesn't want a bigger TV?

Thanks so much guys! I’m thinking at this point it would just be easier to buy fire sticks and plug them in to MAKE them smart. Anyone try this?

That's what we have and it works great with our hotspot.

Fire stick works good on shore power. On inverted power no so much while transferring from generator to inverter. Requires complete reboot. I just installed smart TV's
