Hello Everyone
Larry and Pat from Lemon Cove, Ca
We have been RVing sense 1986. We currently have a 2022 Montana High Country 295RL and really love the RV. I have been having some electrical problems. I have read some blogs and some are similar in nature. My problem is when boondocking I turn the inverter off I have no power at all.

Welcome to the MOC.

I have the same RV. If you're boondocking you only have 110 volts to the inverted outlets. No other AC outlets are active. The inverter is converting 12 volts DC to 110 volts AC. When you shut of the inverter you kill all of the outlets.

You should still have 12 volt battery power unless your batteries are dead or the main Battery shutoff switch is off. The inverter will still invert even if the battery switch is off. The inverter has it's own battery disconnect.

Question, do you have 12 volts with the inverter on? Check the Giggy box red disconnect switch and make sure it's in the on position.
