Water filters

I just bought 2 Seagull iv water filters. We are going to have the dealer mount 1 on the bathroom sink and 1 on the kitchen sink when our Monty is delivered. I bought both on Ebay for less then 1 cost from a dealer. I will also use a inline filter to keep dirt out of the system. If the dealer installs the fawcetts and screws up they will have to fix the counter tops.

We find that the best filtering action for the various water systems we may connect to is to use two filters in tandem. The input filter does nothing more than remove any debris that may be in the water--and believe me, every system has debris in it--and the second filter removes the impurities. Filter cartridges are graded. The lower the number of the cartridge, the better and more impurities it removes.

The General Ecology filters are less then 1 micron and we use them for drinking water and cooking. We use the inlet filter taking the debris and primary filtering.
