I-5 Northbound near Redding, CA on 8/20?

A few miles north of Redding (right beside the Montana dealer coincidentally) we saw a Montana heading NB with a white (aren't they nearly all?) pickup. We were southbound towing ours with a burgundy Ford. We blinked as did the other driver, but maybe he was just responding politely.

Hey Bill we were NB Sunday around 6pm from Redding but we have a blue Ford. How have you been? Busy summer for us with the farming etc. Barb started teaching again on Monday.

We thought of you while we stopped for quick meals and rest breaks at the Weed rest stops. We're having a relaxing summer, now that the heat wave is over. Our next trip, over Labor Day, will bring us back to your neighborhood at the RR campground in Dunsmuir.

Will fall bring a slow down on the farm, if not the schoolhouse?

Let us know when you will be at RR Park. We go down to Dunsmuir regularly with Grandkids there, sports etc. We might be able to stop by for a short visit. Fall on the ranch is a slow down of sorts. I have some fall planting to do and last minute repairs to horse stalls etc getting ready for winter. At least irrigation is through for the year around Labor Day.

The Schoolhouse is just getting up to speed for the year and there isn't much slow time other than holiday breaks and the like.
