Toilet. Grrr

I should have asked a 7 Feathers. They ford Aqua-Magic. Side lever. The lever has to be lifted with the toe after flushing. I tried drying the ball valve and spraying with silicone but does not help. Ghettoes said to
Replace the valve. JUST out of warranty. Any fixes to recommend? Hate to have to replace every year.

You can try cleaning the bottom of the seal, lubing with cooking oil and spraying the lever mechanism with silicone and it should work for a while, but Jimmy has the only long term fix.

You can try all of the above but the "junk it" fix is the best. Got one on order.

It's too bad you didn't have the new toilet with you at 7 Feathers. Could have had it changed out in less than 20 minutes.

We just had the same problem with out toilet. On ours it was the coil spring that is inside the pedal hub. One of the ends broke off. We got another one at a Camping World for 18 bucks, ten minutes after we got home we were back in business. You need to disassemble the pedal assembly and pull the spring out and look at it. If that is the problem then get the new spring and use some heavy silicone grease when you reassemble it..

The pedal "sort of" returns but needs assistance. Like it needs more tension on the spring. I haven't removed the lever yet. Maybe a tomorrow project
