I-70 closed near Palisade, Colorado due to Fire

http://www.9news.com/news/article/27...ne-Ridge-Fire-

I know there are other threads regarding the Colorado wildfires but travelers be advised about the closure of I-70 in Colorado tonight due to fire. If you plan to travel on Colorado this summer it might be a good idea to check your route for fires. "The fire was threatening to cross Interstate 70 Thursday night. A 13-mile stretch of the highway northeast of Palisade is closed." This is on the western side of the state near Grand Junction.

Right now the PIG rating (probability of ignition) is 100%. That means a lawn mower hitting a rock will start a fire. A ricochet from a bullet could, also. So please be careful while traveling. We have had three forest fires near our house since the middle of May. Hope everyone traveling has a safe trip. Thanks for the i70 update.
