Tom, We enjoyed it a lot and plan to go back in the future. Plenty of room on the site, quiet, and very friendly. Very easy to access from I-40. If you need to do some shopping, hit the Wallyworld in Waynesville as the one in Lake Juneluska (sp)is no longer there. The is no camp store at Pride, but they serve a great breakfast every morning. Lot of good places to eat, but I do not recommend the new Ruth Crisp's steakhouse at the casino in Cherokee. Only been open a month and just getting off the ground. It was a one time meal for us since the folks we were with wanted to go there and I have to admit, it was the most expensive steak I have ever consumed. Was delicious though but everyone agreed that the mashed potatoes were made from a box. Wandered through Creekwood and it is also a nice CG, but back in only. The Wi-fi at Pride is just about nill for all practical purposes and I had to rely on Fox-fi and Creekwood's signal. Check with sailer when you get there for the password. Lots of cable TV stations through Pride's cable system. The weather was great! If you are travelling I-40, it is a bit rough in the vicinity of Hickory in both directions. If you plan to take a ride on the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad, it only runs out of Bryson City and has closed everything out in Dillsboro. Lastly, don't forget your national park passes if you have them, we forgot ours so didn't venture into the Smokey Mountain National Park. Have since put them in the center console of the truck so we will have them in the future.

Tim,
Thanks for the info, we'll definitely check out the railroad and stay away from Ruth Crisp's. )
Sailor, we'll be looking you up when we get there.
