Ozz, it is positively brutal outside! It only got up to 72 here in Land O Lakes, FL today...I actually thought about breaking out a light jacket. If this keeps up, we might have to move south!
You are killing me..
Well, as it turns out, I just saw a weather report for overnight Monday and Tuesday...high 20s. That's what I get for gloating...sorry, Ozz.

Where we volunteer here at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, in southern Arizona five miles from the border with Mexico, we had our cold wave last week--highs only in the 60s. The last several days have been more normal--lows in the 40s, highs in the upper 70s. But then we have lots of UDAs (undocumented aliens) passing thru, which keeps things exciting!!!!
Are you close to the Casino down there? When we were on Isla Blanca Park; Padre Island, the Park Rangers were chasing them around the park all the time, does get exciting.
We have been watching TV I think it is called Border Wars, your area is a hot-bed for Drug smuggling. Be careful there.

We have TONS of UDA's here in Branson !!! Sneaky too...with those tinted windows and elevated seats. Most of us can pick 'em out though...their vehicles generally have graphics on the side, last word is usually "tours" !

It was 79 yesterday (or Sat.) here in Mesa, Az. I was thinking of going for a dip in the pool...... --- Oh wait, it was our last house that had a pool. Guess I will run thru the sprinklers!

16 Deg right now. Cold here. 4-5" snow on the ground. More to come the end of the week. 51 days and counting until I leave for Port Aransas!!!!!! But who is counting. I leave with the truck, trailer, and dog. Wife stays home for another 6 weeks. Does it get any better than this? Of course once there, I am reminded of the saying (to my wife). "I'm so miserable without you it's almost like you are here".

If you are cold and wintering in Florida you may be able to go to a local zoo and borrow a blanket from one of the orangutans as they were passing blankets out to help the orangutans stay warm.

Light dusting of snow and 23 degrees this morning. Northern Maine had 20 inches of snow and some roads were closed for a few hours. Maine turnpike speed down to 45 mph. Guess I'm lucky that I live in southern Maine. Heading south middle of January........

Cold is relative. At home high of 18 today, winter storm warning out, blowing and drifting snow many inches on the ground. Here in South central Florida it is Cold by Florida standards. 42 degrees right now. Our windy and breezy package is working well. Freeze predicted for tonite. If it is not snowing...it is not winter ... It will be in the 70's here by Thursday..It will be very cold in Northern Ohio till April.
