honda generator ev4010

hi everone.
i have a question and that is i have a 2006 2950rk and have a chance to pickup a honda ev4010 but i do not know if it will fit in the front compartment or not,also are they very loud ?

They are MUCH louder (67DB!!!) than the smaller portable units like the eu2000i or eu3000i (@49-59DB, depending on load).

The unit apparently is fairly small (26.22" x 20.19" x 14.17"), but putting in a system to get rid of the fumes would take up some more room, and fuel would need to be isolated.

It might also be tough to muffle the noise so inside the rv would be tolerable? It also adds 202 lbs (not including fuel) to your 5W weight.

Hi Farmall i have the honda 6010 installed in my 3295 with no problems it fits in the generator prep compartment just fine. As for the noise we run the generator while sleeping sometimes and have never had any problems with the generator being to loud

digger - did you install it yourself? I'm curious as to what kind of baffling is installed to quiet the 67db down? Is it quiet in front of the storage area, too?
