I think the post said grade 5 bolts that were 3/8 inch. There should be plenty, easy to find discussions recently if you do search on step recall. John

I've read the posts but they don't give the size. #5 is the how hard the bolt is. The strength of the bolt. I was looking for the length
and diameter of the bolt.

If you have gotten the recall or are possibly going to get one-- DO NOT do the work yourself. If you do, it will void the warranty if something happens to the steps after you do the recall yourself. I know it is hard not to do it but it will void the warranty and that comes from the service manager at the dealer I purchased my unit from. He showed me the notice he got and then the recall of the recall and it actually stated what I just stated right in the recall notice he received from Keystone!

Ditto to what Rondo says. My dealer's service manager says that anyone who has done the repairs themselves, or had someone unauthorized do it, will be out of luck if anything ever happens. On our way home from an outing, I called him ahead of time, and he had me bring the fiver by the shop, so the service department could take pictures and document the situation. He said that it's being worked out between Keystone and Hickory as to exactly what parts are actually supposed to be used. Apparently, some parts were sent out earlier that were not the correct ones. For a simple situation, it has turned into a really big deal. I'm sure the lawyers got involved somewhere along the line.
