I never hand wax, I use 2 buffers. 1-2 days if your going to take it easy. A lot depends on how your feeling and what the temps are like.

Never tried it myself. I've paid a guy and his teenage son to do it down in Mexico several times. Total time including cleaning the roof is around 7hrs. Total cost $80 plus tip. Man I miss Mexico.

4-5 hours for me on a 42' coach. That is hand applying and using the buffer to remove.

yes ive always used camco rv/wash and wax and it has been great just had the time and vacation to myself while the dw and daughter was working so i brought her to the houses and washed and waxed by hand. probably only time ill do it like that again. temps were mild upper 70's plus i got a hose reel added underneath for the anaconda power cord. and some storage for the rhino flex hose. and instlled the 2nd a/c in the bedroom too. so not bad for a couple of days.

In our Rv park in Florida there is a company that washed it waxed it detailed it for 140.00. That included cleaning the roof. It was worth every dollar. It took three hard working folks nearly 3 hours to do the job and they did a excellent job. It was all by hand no power washing no buffing. It is a family business they are very busy as they do a quality job.

I take about 4 days, 4 or 5 hours a day to put a NuFinish coat of wax on. I must be really slow. I would gladly pay someone $140 to wax it without cleaning the roof!

I will bet there is a outfit in the Ft Myers area that will do that job. It may be a bit more expensive in the Ft Myers area. We are in the low rent area of Florida. Our Daughter and SIL have a winter home in Ft Myers Beach. In our area it is Kevins Detailing service. They operate in many of our local Rv parks and do a land office business. We will have it done again when we return to Florida.

After reading the reviews, I bought a bottle of this from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Really, REALLY was skeptical about the claims, but it turns out to be much better than I thought it would be. Certainly cleans better than any of the wash/wax/air dry stuff even with a long reach soft brush! Still had to use some of the black streak remover on the worst of them, but I've never come across any car wash that would do that either. I went through two of the cheap Wallymart 8 packs of micro fiber towels for one full side (and slide out sides), but they wash and are reusable. I have to hand rub about a yard square part with a soaked towel, then dry with another towel, but there's no heavy pressure needed and it's not hard work. I already did the front cap a while back & will do the rear tomorrow, but will have to move the thing to do the other side (neighbor's fence is in the way).

Had a product called perma plate put on ours. Comes with a 5 year paint warranty and they recommend washing with dawn only, no waxing. If it is as good as they say then money well spent. $700.00
