First trip of the year...

Good morning everyone. My wife, daughter and I are weekenders and definitely looking forward to our first trip of the year (my daughter has spring break this week). We are going to Brazos Bend State Park near Needville, Texas.

We are definitely looking forward to the trip. Have any of you been to this particular state park?

Thanks,
Chris

Yes, we were there last year. We had a great time there.

I am jealous. We do not get to go until the first week in May. We will be going to Okla. the to Branson and then to Texas. Cannot wait. We purchased our 2011 Montana 3400RL last Oct. brought it home and put it to bed for the winter. It crys when we check on it. Wants to play.
Have a great safe trip.

Well, we had a great time at Brazos Ben State Park last weekend. It is a great place to visit. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights. Our site was number 138 and it was awesome. Lots of room between us and our neighbors. We saw lots of wildlife (mostly birds and gators). If you are in the area, you should definitely check it out.

Here are some photos:

regards,
Chris

Looks like a nice park, I see you had some good looking friends to share it with.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Truly enjoyed your website and reading the trip reports. Our first trip for the year will be this weekend to Lake Georgetown, Jim Hogg State Park. Been there many times and really enjoy it for a weekend get-away. Maybe we will see you out there sometime.

Hey Jim. It is good to meet a fellow MOC member that lives so close. We have never been to Jim Hogg but it is on our list. We are headed to Kerrville-Schreiner Park in Kerrville in April and then South Llano River SP in Junction for Memorial Day weekend. Will you be at either of those?

Chris, not in our current short range plans at this point. We will be going to the state park in Tyler for a few days the first part of May. I'm sure we will run into each other at some point down the road.
