Tired of winter & ready for spring....

I am tired of winter and ready for spring!!! (Yes, I know living in Texas is much better than up north...) We hate cold weather and it has been cold here in Texas for the last month. We are ready for some consistently warm weather so we can go camping again.

Our first trip of the year is to Brazos Bend State Park near Houston in March. Its about 54 days away and counting down....

We are having a heat wave today in West Virginia. Just went to Lowes and the temperature was showing a balmy 28 degrees. Way better than when we woke up this morning and it was 8 degrees!! C'mon Spring!!

I'm with you, brother!
I had to wire up a furnace and an outlet yesterday out in the cold, my fingers were frozen, kept dropping the little screws in the rocks. Bummer. 7 month's 23 days 19 hrs 33 seconds....
(If not before.)

It is all a matter of perspective, we live in the Dallas area and still go out every other weekend. We are camping at The Vineyards Campground this weekend and the temperature is brisk, but the weather is gorgeous! I too am looking forward to spring, but until then it is campa campa campin!

I'm with Ozz but I'm not heading out like he is! We're here in Omaha and it's about 17* and snowing! Expecting 5-6 inches of that beautiful white stuff over the next 24 hours and that's on top of about 10" on the ground already! What a joy to be here! Want to trade us???

I agree with you, big time. Here in Maine we are having one of those Old Fashioned Winters. We have had three snowstorms in a week, tomorrow night we go into the arctic freeze -15 degrees at night, Monday's high of 10 degrees and a possible storm again this Wednesday.
The roads are getting narrower and narrower and the snowbanks higher and higher . Getting the Montana out of here this winter is looking pretty dismal, might have to use by plan "B" .
Back in December I reserved a townhouse on the base in Key West for two weeks. If we don't have a January or February thaw, come February we'll drive our car South.
Hope the Farmer's Almanac is right when it says that February will be a mild month.
