Ultra Low Sulfer diesel fuel availability

Is the ULS Diesel Fuel readily available on the road? Although we don't yet have our new TV, we have been checking out diesel fuel in our area and seems all the pumps still have the warning sticker that you can't put it in the new 2007 trucks (because it isn't the ULS). This is making us a little nervous about our future purchase. After reading the thread on mileage I am guessing that it is available most places? Are these mostly truck stops? Thanks, Sue C

It was required by the Feds that all diesel fuel sold after Oct 15 be ULSD. Don't know if all stations are complying.

One would think that the pumps would be labeled as such. The pumps I am filling up at are labeled LSD (500ppm Sulfur).

If you look at the Flying J website, they have posted under the diesel fuel prices what station in each city/state is running which fuel. They also have the prices listed for each fuel listed as well.

Also check out the Petro Truck Stop website, they also have it listed as well.

I am having a harder time finding 500ppm diesel. Most stations around here are already running 15ppm.

When we came south, every place I stopped for fuel was the ULSD 15ppm. The stations down here in SW Florida all have ULSD with the exception of the Mobil station at MLK Drive in Ft. Myers exit 138 on I75 I think. They still have 550ppm. However, most likely they will be changing soon.
