Leveling jacks

Tring to hook up to my 3231 but can't get the jack command to come on it says comm error. Check wiring anybody know what is going on

FYI: comm error means, Communication between controller and touch pad has been lost. Remedy states: Check harness for proper connections or damage. Replace if necessary.

personally I've never had this error. The only error I've had required a recalibration of my 6 point leveling system.

I would try unhooking the battery first to see if it resets, then check connections.

I checked the batteries and they are dead so I took them out and got them charged. Will put back tommorrow and see what happens. I do have the soler panel and I always thought that it would keep it charged. I guess I need to learn more about my solar system and how it works
