Entry Lights
Just got a 2015 3582RL and during our walk thru I thought the Dealer Tech told me there is a way to turn off the entry lights so they won't come when door opens. Is there a way? A lot of difference in this unit and my old 2007 M0untaineer.

Not aware of any switch controlling that switch. On the 2010, because that switch had a tendency to bind up unless lubricated regularly and make the screen door hard to close, I removed it. Do not know if that would work on the 2015 but so far no binding issues. Have the same switch/button setup in the pantry.

You will find, if you do a search, a recent thread on how people have handled this. Some have taken the switch out like Mike and others have retired it. Let us know if you come up with a good solution.

I disconnected one wire and taped it back, but kept the switch. Found having all those lights come on at night was a guarantee to get every bug in a 100' range inside along with you.

I don't mind the light but I hate the switch. I'd like to replace it with a microswitch that doesn't require constant lubrication and won't bind the screen door when I close it. Instead of activating the overhead, I'd like it to activate some LEDs mounted in the step area.

My door sw bound up once. I took some very light oil and powered graphite and mixed up a paste. Then put the paste on the switch plunger. Good for over a year now.
Did the same thing for the door latch. I removed the latch from the door lubed the innards and reinstalled. Smooth.....
