Dimplex fireplace
It never ends....Last night our Dimplex quit blowing warm air.Took it out today and did all the checks and cleaning still no warm air. It will blow air for about 30 seconds them stop. Called Dimplex they ran me through some checks and declared the heating element bad. It is out of warranty but they will send me a new heating unit free of charge. Great customer service as I was prepared to pay for any part needed and told them so. They declined and sent me the part at no charge. I was like 6 months out of warranty.

Good to hear that a couple of companies Keystone uses will step up to the plate for the customer.

I've read things in this forum how Dimplex truly supports their products unconditionally, even past their warranty period. Unfortunately for me it makes me feel that they must make so much money from their products that they can afford to do this.

Or maybe they have so few failures they can afford to do it. Makes for great PR and may speak volumes for why they have a big chunk of the market.

Yes, over the years they have been a great company to deal with. Let's hope this superb history of customer service continues. Always nice to know.

We had pulled the fireplace when we got the Montana to clean it out as we have seen the construction material left there at the fact ory tours. There was actually not much there and when pulled now after two years it was just dusty. We knew the woofer was back there and that is a really good place to not put a woofer as it does not woof very well way back there. In Keystone defense they would have had to think real hard to find a place to put it. We are thinking real hard and will find a better place for it.
BTW we usually have very positive repair, replacement and warranty experiences with the vendors.

Thanks for posting another successful repair, Just think Rich you have gained soooo much experience. Setting here thinking Montana is working ok today, but DW just now reports our clothes washer flashed an F10 error ?, she turned it off and on and it is working.
Early this week furnace control (maybe t-stat) quit working, turn it off and on and it works. RVing for a retirement is soooo full of new adventures
