Bottle the bug

I don't know where to post this. We use bottled drinking water, bottled green tea, bottled Coca Cola, all with screw on tops. Usually there is at least one handy in the trash basket. Occasionally, a spider or one of the lady bug looking stinky beetles can be seen crawling around on the ceiling or a wall, etc. Rather than trying to swat it or smash it in some way which creates a stink or a spot, I now get the empty bottle put the open mouth of it over the bug, they crawl inside and I cap it and back in the trash, no muss, no fuss.
