Welcome.
There is a section in the Forum called
"Brrr it's cold outside! Winter Camping".
Lots of good info on cold weather camping.
Being up in BC skirting is a must.

Hey Woody62

If you don't want to go north, you can always go to Texas for the winter. We had all the snow and cold I wanted last winter while camping down by Lake Medinia. Went to escape the winter and waalked right into it.

Southern BC Canada is totally unlike the northern states or the rest of Canada east of the rockies. It is very mild, seldom getting below freezing and it lasts for maybe 8 weeks whereas Northern Ontario for instance where I come from it is at least 16 weeks long and often 20.
