Angry Automatic Levelers stopped working.

We have a 2021 Montana 3231CK and are on our 2nd trip out. When setting up today, leveling system has locked up with no response to automatic or manual leveling options. Front levelers are to the ground and will not budge. Can someone help please?

There is an inline fuse that may be blown if you are not seeing anything on your keypad. It is a 15 amp fuse.

See if you can reboot the touch pad by shutting down all power. Give it a minute or two and power back up.

Sounds like a blown fuse, but I can't tell you where. Could be a loose wire, somewhere. If you can plug into shore power and get a response, then it's likely neither of the above and a battery problem. If you can't fix it, give Lippert a call; they may be able to walk you through the troubleshooting.

Molly,

A little more info will help us help you. Are you hooked up to shore power in a campground or is the rig sitting with only internal power? Is the display for the levelers blank or do you see lights in the display.

In your battery compartment there is an 80 amp manual reset breaker that powers the hydraulics. If the little lever is visible (it will be at an angle) you can reset by pushing the lever in (toward the center of the breaker).

Also, check battery cables going to the pump. Mine were loose from factory and had this issue.
I also had a hydro line come apart and lost all fluid (at a different time). Bad fitting on the hose. Check the fluid level for a clue.

Download the Lippert NOW app from Google play store. Lots of good info troubleshooting tips and user manuals.
There are instructions in here for manually operating the hydraulic system using a drill in the event the pump fails.
You will also find Lippert videos on YouTube for doing this.

Consider yourself lucky that the motor failed while under warranty. The retail cost of a new one from Lippert is over a thousand dollars. https://store.lci1.com/hydraulic-pum...et-167576.html

A couple at the same campground as us has exactly the same problem. Four month old 3791. His dealer had him call Keystone, who had him call Lippert. Went round in circles a few times, but now has a replacement coming from Lippert. He did check the eTrailer price it was some $300 less than Lippert.

Not sure if this will help you. But, we had a similar problem related to low battery charge. It's a simple thing to check. Make sure battery is fully charged
