Top of water heater popped out

Hello folks!! While taking my monthly square tipped screw driver walk around the outside of my 2019 3810MS, I noticed the top of my hot water heater popped out about a half inch! Trying to "push" it back in did not work, can't see any screws that would "pull" it back in, would take a heck of a bunch of caulk to fill it in. It was getting ready to rain so I just used some Flex seal type tape across the top and sides to keep some water out until I can take a closer look, have no idea how long it has been raining inside, can look right inside the wall! Not sure how to get to it inside, is right next to refrigerator vent, and possibly under bathroom, will take a closer look tomorrow, anybody else have this problem? Thanks

Been on here since 2006. That’s a new one.

Mine is loose too. I first noticed the caulk has separated all around the panel. I'll be working on it tomorrow.
3130re. I have an inside access panel under the bottom shelf of the pantry.

David,

Not an uncommon issue. Here is a recent thread:
