Is club still active
We have a 2018 Montana and looking for active camping club. Is the north East club still active? I understand that this year with Covid there may not be any trips or gatherings.
Happy Camping.

If this is a general question whether RV clubs are camping.............our club in northern California is camping with social distancing and face masks. We organized the first campout to the California delta in June, next trip is to Fort Bragg in September then to Red Bluff in October.

Thanks for the feed back. I’m happy that you are camping in CA. I was asking specifically about the Northeast Club. We live in Connecticut and most of our trips are in New England with a few further north and south.

There doesn't seem to have been much activity by that area in the last two years. It all depends on a member taking the initiative to start the organization of a rally. After that it always seems to fall into place with organized events, coordinators, and attendees. People are reluctant to be the 1st but are very willing to help once an event is started.
The members who organized the previous rallies have apparently moved on. But there must be more in the area who would be interested. Perhaps post a Thread to discern if anyone is interested in doing something next year might be a good start?

Definitely agree with Carl. It takes a good organizer to get, and keep, the ball rolling. The central plains region rally is a great example of that. A lot of people want to attend such events, and even volunteer to help out, but not many want to be the person to take on the effort required to organize it. But all it takes is one person.

The MOC Fall Rally in Goshen has been an annual occurrence since 2005 or so. The Western Region has been doing two rallies a year for almost 16 years. Recruiting a Wagon Master is key to the next year's events. It is harder to say no when you are face to face, particularly after several adult beverages.
