Happy Camper Tank Treatment- California
For those of you that use Happy Camper and you live in California, where are you buying it? I just tried to order some from two different vendors. I get a can not ship to this address. I have order before with no problems.

Forget the Happy Camper and just pour some Dishwashing liquid in there. Or use some Laundry detergent (liquid stuff).

I live in California and last purchased it from https://www.happycampers.store/ but I just saw on their website they no longer ship to California. Suggest having it shiiphed to an out of state rv park on you next trip out of state Or buy it on ebay

After some research, found this.
California’s SB-317 bill bans the use of certain chemicals in RV holding tank treatments and also prevents stores from selling treatments containing restricted chemicals.
Happycamper web site said that their product does not contain the restricted chemicals, so instead of fighting it, they decided just not to sell it in California.

Greg: I have been using both Happy Camper and Unique. I recently bought a new supply of Unique (which seems to do a slightly better job of liquefying "stuff"). It seems to be available in CA.

When you travel out of Calif, have it shipped to an RV park so it arrives while you are there or maybe ahead of your arrival. We have been using TanktechsRV with good results for quite a few years now, and were able to get it shipped in Calif while we were there.

I also switched from Happy Camper to Unique. Works much better for the black tank. I'm currently using up my remaining Happy Camper in the galley tank. I may continue that, or I may go back to using Borax and cheap powdered dish washer soap combination. Either way, some particles of food make it into the galley tank and will inevitably make a smell.

I have tried several different treatments and found that the Unique digest-it by far was the best. You wont be disappointed. You will also not need to flush your black tank until you put your RV in storage for an extended time. Read and follow the instructions and makes that part of the rv experience so much easier. Happy camping!

I left the state nearly 5 years ago after living here for nearly 55. Most of my life in LA and the last 22 years I lived outside of Yreka. Most to Texas and haven't looked back since I did.
Used to be a great state but as they say "times they be a change'n"
