Slide out construction question

2014 343rl MHC.
My kitchen slide out is having an issue. Sliding out or in it makes a very jerky motion and noise. Seems kinda like a roller or something like that under the floor is binding up, or something like that. The other 3 slide outs function perfectly.
I have adjusted cables per the manual but before I start tearing things apart, I am wondering how these are constructed. Do they roll in and out on some kind of roller setup? What could be causing such a jerky and loud motion when its going in or out? I can't get to the underside without disassembly and wondered if anyone knowing a lot more than I do has any thoughts before I start surgery.

Thanks!!!
