Hi Ozz,I don't know where Russel is but we're heading out from WI to Hutchinson (about 60 mi. west of Witchita) then down to the hill country at Blanco, TX. Hwy.281 is a very good route. It doesn't take you into Amarillo, but if it fits into your route anywhere, I would highly recommend it. Man, I can aready taste that barbecued brisket!! If you have any plans to visit the hill country south or west of Austin, we'd love to meet you. Also , A big howdy and thanks to all my fellow veterans.
