Question Converter or inverter

Good morning from Texas. I have a 2008 40’ fifth wheel with 4 pullouts I’m having trouble with power. So got lights and then they are gone, turn front air on and all lights come on, then looks and sounds like very weak, but my question is can anyone tell me where the converter or inverter is, because I have looked everywhere and can not seem to find it.

Thank you

Welcome to MOC.
We need to know which Montana camper you have.

I agree, what model Montana do you have. Different models have the converter in different places.

It is always very near to the power distribution panel. That is the box with circuit breakers for 120V AC and 12V DC electrics. A popular model in the time time frame was the 3400RL. The power panel in a 3400RL is in the bathroom. The converter is behind it. You do have to undo the screws and pull the panel out to access it. It is an easy job.

It is difficult to speculate on the cause of your problem given the limited information. Do the lights work when there is shore power? How about when there is none? Do you have a volt ohm meter (VOM) and know how to use it?

Sort of sounds like key is turned the wrong way in the outside convenience center. If you can pull it out, turn it so you can't pull it out. Assuming your model has the key outside.
