Quartzsite 2025
For planning purposes, the Quartzsite gathering will be held Jan 14-21, 2025. Look for more information a couple months before then.

Tony keep us posted on your better half's surgery. I can't catch a break with these rallies. Dirty four letter word keeps getting in the way - work! We just canceled reservations for the NFRA due to conflicts.

We have not yet attended a Quartzsite gathering. Do they have a pump truck that comes around? Extra water bladders? We have a 2K generator to help recharge batteries and a 400W solar package. Were thinking of giving the dry camping a try

There is a pumping service you can call and they will clean you out. And yes, many of us have water bladders and are more than happy to loan them to you.

There is a pump truck that's in the area but most who go can last a good week to ten days on waste tank. just have to manage your tanks and usage. As for water there are several in the group that have water bladders that you can go to town and get water when need. No need to fear dry camping there are a lot of us that do this every year and are more than happy to help. My wife doesn't like to boondock, she does like to go to Quartzite every year now. Hope you will make it out to the circle this winter.

As pointed out, pumping service is available. There will be signs with a phone number. However, it is a little expensive; $50 a couple years ago. Most of us can last 10 or 12 days on the waste tanks (Navy showers & be careful). Also, I'm a little reluctant to let them hook a vac truck to my rig.
If necessary, you can pull into town, dump & fill up fresh water for $15-$20.

Terrie and I are hoping to attend again this year. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. If you are new to boondocking, don’t worry. There are many experienced folks attending. Although it is only “scheduled” for a week, many of us stay for the BLM two week allotted time. There are lots of activities including a ham fest, RV show, rock show and historical sites. At a minimum, bring at least a 2000 watt generator. A number of us have water bladders, so water is not an issue. If you like twenty minute showers, it will get expensive. We usually dump right before arrival and dump as we leave at 14 days. We usually refill with water after a week. Everyone camps differently, so this is how we camp. There is a nightly happy hour and campfire. Don’t let inexperience keep you away. The beauty of rallies is the ability to learn and help others.
