Critter Time
Just pulled my unit our of storage to winterize it. Can you believe it's going to get into the low 20's, in early Dec, in Florida.
It appears a critter is trying to enter the bedroom thru the front air conditioner duct, tried to chew thru the adjustable side vent. I have traps set and hopefully nail it.

I also suggest Bay leaves and BOUNCE sheets to ward them off.

We have had good luck with peppermint oil on cotton balls.

Nailed the critter, set the trap, baited with cheese. Checked this AM, cheese was on the floor, mouse crap also, no trap. I'm thinking the little bugger didn't like my cheese, and crapped on my floor to show off and then stole my trap. Now I'm worried, got my 9mm out and followed the blood trail. Just around the corner of a recliner I spotted the tail. There is no "the rest of the story", he died with his boots on. Tomorrow he will be residing in the nearest landfill.

Sounds like a big critter to be walking off with the trap. I prefer my 12 gauge on anything that big.

12 guage will make an awful big hole in the Monty. We have some excellent mousers we're trying to find homes for. Mice tend to get into the stick house, but don't last too long.

I have posted critters three times, with the largest catch of 17.
There are so many places I have put expandable foam, and yet they still get in and around.
They even get up into the ceiling.
Have gone the dryer sheet, mothballs routs and they make a nest with the dryer sheets and I hate the lasting smell of mothballs.
I guess if you lived in the middle of a paved parking lot, you probably would not get critters in the rig.

I shot one of those S&W 500's once. That was enough!
