Roll the ReTrac back (in self contained box, rolls out of cover the cargo bed or into box to expose the bed) to within a 2" max clearance of where 5th wheel may rotate (so hitch does not come into contact with tonneau cover) and pinch cover in place to secure position without moving into or out of tonneau box... When unhitched, roll out tonneau to cover the truck bed.... in short, when traveling, there 85%-90% of exposed bed.

I have the BAK Revolver X2 cover. Works great on my ‘16 F350 SB & you don’t need an extra key to lock it.

I'm with Mosnowman and alherbal when it come to my tonneau cover, a ReTrax. In fact, I have two of them. One on the 3500 HD which I tow with and also one on the 1500 that I use daily. Would not be without them. I can roll them back when I need the full bed or when towing and when not towing or hauling anything I just roll them to the tailgate and lock it into place. When I close them I secure anything in the bed of the truck because I can lock the tonneau cover and also the tailgate.
