Wow, I thought we must be really stupid since both me and my DW now have cuts in our heads from that dang panel door after our maiden voyage. Problem is the location of the controls access door. When extending awning or slides, you look at slide / awning then naturally come back to the panel only to get knocked in the head by the open door that is above normal line of vision as you step up. I took the door off the hinges until we figured something out. This should be recalled and redesigned by Keystone. It could easily take out an eye if you look up and run directly into the bottom edge of the door. What the "Heck" was Keystone thinking putting a non-spring return door in that location? I believe this poses a very serious human injury risk that needs to be taken seriously and addressed by Keystone!

I think that I would change the hinges and handles around and that would solve that problem. You would be able to fill the holes with those colored putty sticks and they would not be noticeable (except to you).
If you have the door below it do the same.

Hi,
I bought on the road today a 81/2' Spring ant Tractor Supply.
Additional some ring screws and the damn door is fixed.
Will add some leather cover where it hits the wood beam as it will not look pretty there very soon.
Mike
