Flag Poles

Any recommendations of flag poles? My old rig didn't have any reasonable ways to attach a flag pole and I do have a few flags. Along with the stars and stripes, I have a Jefferson State Flag not to mention my favorite baseball team, the SF Giants.

I've got one of the fiberglass telescoping poles that attaches to the ladder. I bought it Camping World for about $70.00. We fly two flags off ours (red, white, and blue, and the Coast Guard flag) all summer long and its held up great.

We bought a flag pole from Camping World as well. Attaches to the ladder, is aluminum and I like it. I think it was $149.00. But we used our Good Sam Elite membership, waited for a sale as well and chopped a good $40 or $50 off of that. I think I have a picture...

OMG!! HA! The ONLY photo I have of it! look between the two trees at the rear! I will remedy this!!

Mine is a standard angle and banner type flag pole holder mounted to the pin box.

We bought one of the US flag kits at Lowe's with the angled metal bracket that could screw to the side of your house. I mounted it to the front lip of the pinbox, it works well, and is not in the way of hooking up. I have seen variations of these brackets that hold up to 3 different poles in a fanned out pattern. I use a solar light to illuminate the flag at night ... kinda works as a nightlite as well.

I also have the "flagpolebuddy". Easy to install holders to the rear ladder. Fiberglass pole, be sure to fully extend the sections tightly. Did not have the sections tight first time and the top section slid back into the lower section.

Saw one at the Sevierville RV Show from www.polesandholders.com that looked really good. Going to order me one from there.

Flag Pole Buddy. I prefer the fiberglass pole. Being an electrician, I don't want to stick a 22 foot metal lightening rod attached to my trailer in the air.

I love my flag pole buddy set. They have all the flags and several size poles. They also offer several lighting accessories.

You will not go wrong with Flag Pole Buddy. As an example, on ours one of the anti-collapse pins reamed out the bottom-most hole so I contacted Flag Pole Buddy. After a little discussion, turns out they are coming out with a new model that they are sending to me for only the shipping charge to try out. That is customer service the way it should be!! This is a great company. I will do a review in a few months after we give the new 23 foot fiberglass pole a try this summer. The primary difference from what I am told is the anti-collapse pins have been replaced with thumb push buttons instead of the pins.
