Thanks for all of the input. I decided to go with a 12 volt slime model with an extended 12v cord. Only need 85 lbs and pump will go to 150 so I should be good.

Make sure the Slime compressor is high volume or you will grow older and greyer while you wait for it to pump up one of your TV or fiver tires. The regular 12V compressors advertise high pressure and are fine for compact cars in a pinch but have little pumping volume for larger tires.

Bostitch 150psi pancake compressor in the cargo bay, would not be without one.

The previous owner of our 2013 3150RL had the on-board generator and moved it to his new Monte. We already had a Honda 3000is generator (mounted in the truck bed) and it was too tall to fit in the generator compartment. So, we closed off the hole in the bottom of the generator compartment with some marine grade plywood and made a home for an older 4 gal, dual stack, 135psi, 120v, 13 amp compressor; then installed a shelf above it to take a mechanics tool box and storage bag for the air tools. Hoses (50' & 25')are coiled below next to the compressor.
