AC question

Don't know if this is a problem or not. We're in Ogden, UT. Temps in high 90s when we arrived at the CG. Monty is slowly cooling down fine, but while the AC fan continues to run, something sort of thumps on and off every now and then. Is this normal in a dry climate?

It sounds like the compressor is cycling on and off. If control is not set to automatic fan will continue to run, but compressor cycles on and off. turn temp down some and see if it stops. if it does then it is just a normal cycle

I agree with racerjoe. Look on your wall thermostat and see if the fan is set on auto or run.

On my 2013 MOuntaineer, I believe there is a set up option that will have the fan speed change as it approaches the set temp or something like that. My unit sort of stops and then starts up immediately at a slower speed.
