A/C repair tip

You turn it on after it has been unused for a while, the rooftop unit vibrates real bad, thumps, you shut it off and wonder how much this will cost...
Nuttin' honey!
Just take the mud-dabber nest out of the plastic fan blade after you take the top cowling off: 4 Phillips head screws.

Ha! it does indeed. It was sitting on my desk and a spider, or some nasty, fast moving something zoomed across the surface.
I then opened the window and tossed it.
But... the A/C runs smooth now.

Ozz I took mine to the lake at santee yr before last and when we got setup susie cut the ac on and it did the same thing. since it was dark and hot I ran it on low speed till morning. same place in the plastic fan I hate dirt dobbers. Glad it was a easy fix.

Yep, I had an anoying vibration at Tybee Island last August and found the same thing. Once removed all is well.
