screws backing out
my neighbour in texas has a 2006 montana, he finds the 4 inch screws that go through the aluminum frame into the floor and walls back off leaving the walls free floating, look in the cargo area then look up above doors at frame and screws, is this something I have to look forward to and if so is there a fix that will keep screws from backing out. thankyou brian

Just checked. I'm not having that problem yet. I have about 15,000 miles on it, mostly interstates, some really rough roads too.

I haven't noticed any in my 2007 doing that. But will keep a watch for it now.

If they are coming out you could try applying some glue to the threads and screwing them back in.

I have 21,000 miles on my 06 Montana. I had one screw come up between my two recliners, in the linoleum and after more inspection I found one more backing up inside the cabinet under the sink. My fix was to cut a small hole in the linoleum screw them back down, then repair the linoleum. My driving has been 3 trips down Baja with this rig and a trip to Alaska, so the rig has seen some rough roads.

That's caused by the frame flexing.

'Normal frame flexing' or 'broken frame flexing'?
