A&E Awning
I dont know if antbody else is having this problem but when I drive down the road I always look at other peoples awnings when rolled up and it's amaising how many I see doing the same thing as mine.
It seem that the plastic is seperating from the fabric at the top where it conects to the RV, and gets worst in cold weather it almost pops off the fabric. I have called Dometic and the first words out of there mouth is it's out of warintee sorry, I have had A&E awnings on all mr RV's starting in the 70's to now, it seems that sence Dometic purchased A&E there product has taken a nose dive in the durability department and long givity area.
I will be replacing the material at Q-site with a fabric from Care Free of Colorado, I;ll keep you informed of how it came out along with the price.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. My Carefree seems to be working well even after I whacked it with a tree. I replaced housing the and all is good.

Stiles, we got back into camping two years ago after a twenty year absence, so I have a lot of catching up to do in the knowledge department.
I haven't whacked a tree with my awning yet, is this something I should be doing? lol
