Roof leak

I have a leak when it rains, drips down the TV antenna crank, sometimes. It really doesn't bother me because it is my wifes side. Any one ever have this problem? Also went today to a Montana Dealer and saw a couple new models and a couple Class A's. We decided that we like our 5th. way better than the A's and we also see no need in upgrading, love ours better.

We had that problem once in 5 years. Turns out the seal on the cable from the antenna was loose. I pushed it back down and have had no trouble since. Also, check the caulking around the antenna mount. If there is even the slightest crack in the caulk water WILL find it. Use caulk that is compatible with the rubber roof.

Also check along the front cap on the roof. Water can travel a long ways and the antenna is a convenient place for it to exit the roof. Several with your vintage (same as ours) had leakage at the front cap.

I had similar seepage, and found that it was from the little rubber "cap" on the F connector from the antenna. Pushed it back in place and put a few dabs of sealant to keep it there...and all has been well since.
