Kitchen fawcett

My kitchen fawcett spout rotates really hard. Does anyone know how to fix this? My neighbor on my lot has a 3150 RL also and he can't get the spray hose to retract inside the spout. Suggestions?

A far as the spray hose will not retract back into the spout it sounds like the weight that attaches to the hose fell off under the sink or it needs adjusting up or down and the rotating real hard problem these RV faucets are the bottom of the barrel stuff and on all of our Monty's I have owned including my 2015 I just replaced them with a name brand faucet from Home Depot and just make sure you buy a cheap Basin Nut Wrench to reach and tighten the nut under the counter

I would throw it away and get a good one. The original faucets are the cheapest ones that can be bought that will look good.

Sure would make it easier to give advice if we knew what year and model rig you are having the problem with, and maybe a photo of the faucet. The faucets in our rig are all made by Dura Faucet, and parts are easily available directly from them http://www.durafaucet.com/
As far as the spout not turning easy, a simple disassembly and some silicone lube on the o rings will get it moving nicely. As far as the hose not retracting, if the weight on the hose under the sink is clear, maybe something was jammed around the hose inside the spout.

The original one may not be that great, but they have a lifetime warranty! Had the cartridge go bad on ours early last year and they sent a new one right away, no charge.

I had a problem like this on a faucet I worked on and found that the washer or gasket got twisted up and it was binding. Got the replacement parts and rebuilt the faucet. Works fine now. I hope you are somewhat handy.

The sprayer problem may be caused by a similar problem in that the hose might be tangled up preventing retraction. Look under the sink and check the sprayer hose that it is not twisted. or caught up on something. Don't be surprised if you have to somewhat of a contortionist to fix this. I hate going under any cabinet to check something like this because it's always such a tight squeeze.

In either case, don't forget to turn off the water so in case you have to loosen or tighten plumbing, there is a minimal water spray all over the place.

Took mine back to camping world and was told they can not be repaired need to replace the entire faucet. I then went to Lowes and purchased the new interior parts and replaced it in about 10 minutes. Easier to do the work yourself, you also know it will be done right!!
