Replacement remote

I have the 12 button LCI remote control that controls the landing gear, stabilizers, awning, exterior lights, and slides. It is on its last leg and I have searched high and low for some replacement. I found one thread where someone recommended http://www.gamainc.com/ for a replacement. Has anyone used this company? I guess as a long shot, has anyone purchased the newer style remote or LCD remote and successfully programmed it to work with the older receiver? I know someone will suggest the Lippert site, but that site is completely useless. I would rather get some hands on knowledge from the best source, which is the people on this site. As always, thanks in advance.

Your dealer can order one for you. So far they have obtained two for me. The first one was incorrect for my model. The second try got the correct one. Actually both work. The problem was the template sticker. The first sticker was for the common 3400 type functions. I needed the sticker for my model. Instead of sending me the sticker they sent another complete remote. The cost for the remote was about $100.

LCI (Lippert) sells them on their web site. There's several other online places as well but I can't recall which ones.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I should have worded the original post a little differently. I would rather replace it with a different design, the updated model, or a different remote altogether. I don't like the poor quality of the one supplied by Lippert. That is why I was asking if anyone had tried any other brand or model remote and it worked with the original receiver. They updated the remotes with one that doesn't have the same 12 push buttons as the original. I know if I call Lippert I may get some answers, but I would rather get hands on experience from someone who has done it.
