Two black water tank leaks in one week!

I always thought it'd never happen to me. We've been sitting here in Ft. Myers since end of Nov and things are great. Then earlier in the wk noticed a small drip underneath. Had to cut the underbelly and noticed a small hairline crack on upper end of the tank..did a quick repair with Eternabond until we get the tank repair kit from Amazon. Thought things were good, then this morning before church noticed fresh drips. This afternoon saw that on the opposite end where it drains into exit pipe there is a small pin hole. Cut it open and captured roughly 2 gal with a pail. After draining added Eternabond to that hairline crack. In over 50 yrs camping since a child, have never seen this. All bleached and washed out now...waiting for permanent repair. I now have a better understanding of what several of you have been going through.

I feel bad for your troubles. It seems like since several have had tank failures every time I am flushing my tanks I am looking underneath my unit waiting to see something dripping. Even if I go outside and catch a "wif" of something I immediately start looking under my Montana. I was the same way with my 2008 3400.

Good luck with your repairs.

I see the new approach to viewing issues with your big sky, rich. Think of each new one as minimal issues...healthier for ones sanity. I feel that you got the lemon that keeps on giving...the eternal santa claus of fifth wheels...the one unit that needs to have the demons sent back to the factory. John

No John other have suggested that those are minimal issues and I note that many other have the same minimal issues so I fell better I thought I was having serious issues.
