Captain Joe: Pardon my silly question but is the "control box" inside the porch light? Did you remove the original bulb light to have room to keep the control box out of the weather? From the pictures from the Amazon website, it is hard to determine exactly how big the control box is and if it would fit inside the porch light enclosure or not.

Yes, the bulb was removed to make room for the control box. Everything works great and the last setting memory is retained when the porch light is turned off and on. Good luck.
