Water pump runs BUT....

HELP!!!!!!

Had been using the Freshwater pump for about 3 weeks without a problem. All of a sudden when you switch it on the pump runs but I'm not getting any water. I wouldn't normally be too concerned but at The Rally in Redmond, OR we will have electric but NO water. Gotta git-r-fixed by July 16th.

HELP!!!!!!

AND YES! There is water in the tank.

The Shure Flo pumps are excellent.....however, before you spend a bunch of money, try the following. Remove the water pump. Remove the filter screen in the inlet line and see if the screen is full of trash as this can affect the amount of water flow. Very often, the manufacturer leaves trash in the lines. If so, clean and reinstall.

Glenn, I found this post on another RV site. worth trying. If not, warranty may replace the whole unit as they may be a throw away unit.

Hey Glenn

Now I could be wrong but I think after you turn the pump on you will most likely have to also turn on a faucet.(lol)I made you smile Glenn, but I have NO idea why its doing that.

I hope you get the problem solved.

Hi Glenn, Did someone bump the winterize lever and now your sucking air? Actually, you can use this hose to test the pump with a jug of water and your finger to test for suction....

yOU MIGHT CHECK THIS. If you are not hooked up to city water, and want to use the water from the fresh water tank, make sure valve in the docking station is in the tank fill position. Kerry
