I replaced our Norwood 1200 series with a Samsung 18 cu ft residential. Same weight, same width, but higher than the rv fridge. I think the wider model you have will mean more modification of the cavity space. The first thing that needs looking at is what happens when the kitchen slide is in. How much space do you have from the front of the fridge enclosure to an island? Residential fridges will have doors and handles that stick out to 29 inches plus. If your enclosures opening from the rearmost wall approx 34 inches towards the front clears the island, then the 18 cu ft Samsung will fit in. I have not regretted the work I needed to do to install the residential fridge.

Any "counter depth" refrigerator that will otherwise fit your opening will be fine. I would not get a standard depth.

The double door OEM fridge works fine for the two of us. We did have to replace the OEM cooling units on both our Montana's within the first year but then never a problem. We do have a 10 CU Ft freezer in the back of the RV.

They also offer helium cooled electric/propane version which if ours dies will be installed.

I can see a full timer going to a res fridge but a weekender/vacationer doesn't make sense need or financially. But it is an owner's choice.
