This is GOLD level
Advice..this is what we did!
Everything in our Monty was new.. and if a towel gets a stain from a rv laundry mat, we leave it at the goodwill. After our typical 4/5 months on the road.. if I have clothes I have not worn? Donated. Nothing stays for long if we don’t use it/ love it.this past CoVID summer we did 21 states, 11,000 miles. Saw America the Beautiful but did not meet/ engage with many folks. Just us, our 2 yr old lab Carly and looking for road magic! No drama..right now? Back on the road 84 degrees..pools are open, bbq on our patio. Life is Good in a fifth wheel!

Welcome to the forum and the Montana family. One thing we all do, myself included, is look at things from our own point of view. How you will use your camper will go a long way toward determining places and things. Some things are universal. Get some good, quality outdoor chairs. My wife likes her GCI rocker, I have a directors chair. An outdoor mat of good quality is also useful. You will also find an outdoor weather station useful regardless of how you camp. We have wind/rain on ours as well. If you will do a lot of boondocking, you may want to look at LiFePo batteries. You may also need a good generator set. We spend a lot of time in our Montana, so we have Instant Pot, Coffee Maker, Cappuccino and frother, immersion blender and dishes that stay in our rig. We duplicate the same brands as in the house. We use a Mopeka propane monitoring system as well. Enjoy your new journey.

I set mine up at the Cranberry bogs here at home in Massachusetts and spent about two months using it to learn every nook of it. We took our first trip about 5 hours away from home. Ive been pulling trailers all my life but she's a bit long for a new owner. I agree with everything above especially on the fueling, you need to plan ahead as you will never fit in a regular gas station!! I bought and furnished her complete with all cooking, pans etc. We even have cloths in her so we can back under and go at a moments notice. One more thing go and purchase the checklist+ app, I use mine every time.... 55 and forgetful!! I have a Departure and final check list I use that keeps me from making that fatal mistake.
