It’s been a ride!

My MOC friends,

It is with mixed emotion that I will be leaving this group as an owner. My partner and I decided to purchase a new River Ranch made by Palomino. Our 2013 3625RE saw many national parks and almost all of the lower 48 various times. Unfortunately the Montanas we have been seeing in the past 8 years has led us to look elsewhere, and the new layouts didn’t work for our full time dual working family.

It’s sad to leave, because this MOC group is smart, tight, and active. I have learned quite a bit here the past 4+ years. Some contributors, in no order and likely misspelled, including Daryle’s, Mikendebbie, AZTraveler, Carlnsusan, gonefishing, Foldbak, and others are what this forum great and why I will keep monitoring it!

As for the Forest River > Palomino > River Ranch forum………there is none. There is just a Forest River forum, which is worse than herding cats. There is a daily feed that includes everything from “my tent is missing the electric cord” to “My million dollar coachland needs a wiper change”. For a very niche product like the river ranch, it’s a lot of hopeless garbage. Kudos to you MOC. Keep it up, and I hope that, in the future if I become a Montana owner again, you will let me back in!

JK it turns out that FR and Keystone are doing a lot of similar things, and I do plan to stay monitoring this group, and contributing when I can. That’s what makes all of us awesome!

Happy November!

No need to go! You know how RVs go…many guts made from the same pile of bolts and nuts.

Howie,

I think you will find all the different manufactures use most of the same components and have many of the same issues. You will likely still learn by staying on the forum.
