Media Center 730N (RHR)

I have the MC 730N (RHR) system in my 2012 RAM. I am less than pleased with this Harmon Navigation system included in this unit. I recently purchased a Garmin (before the truck). I've been running both for grins but have noticed that the maps in the Garmin are much more complete than the Harmon system. I'm in south central UT (Capital Reef NP) and the Harmon didn't know about the roads in the park though the Garmin even knew about a 4x4 road in the park! The Garmin shows the posted speed limit and the current traveling speed of the vehicle. (granted you should use the posted speed limit over the Garmin's but it is a great reminder) The graphics are much easier to read on the Garmin and you can add POI's to the Garmin. I have upgraded Gracenotes and the system software. Maps software claims to be current version.

I recently went to a Rand McNally RV GPS to get the adequate clearance routing and other RV specific info. I agree with you on the in dash Dodge unit, not as good as my old Garmin. Ok for the cities, but not that great anywhere else.
