Did our eyes deceive us...Montana 2006?

We just saw a "strange" looking Montana, we think. It is still white but has minimal graphics (swirls) in tan and brown with plain lettering on the front cap, but I think it clearly said, "MONTANA". Is this the new look for 2006? Or are we going crazy? Be careful how you answer that!

Don't know if this applies to what you saw but we saw a Montana in a RV park we were staying in July 4th, this year, that had no decals. They ordered it this way. It had the gel-coating all around. Beautiful unit. Had the front living room. So someone could have ordered this unit you saw the way they wanted it.

That might be the answer. It looked more like an Open Road or Excel. Thanks.

Not about the '06 graphics but we do have an MOC Member who removed the "Montana" from the nose of his rig and in it's place it says "This Is The Life". I would post his rigs photo but he doesn't use a photo in his signature.

I posted elsewhere that we saw a new Mountaineer. They have a prominent "Montana" across the nose and "Mountaineer Edidtion" in smaller letters underneath. At first glance it does look like a regualar Montana until you read the "fine print". Maybe that is what you saw.

There is a brand of fifth wheels that has a Montana Edition. I've seen them but can't remember what brand it is. The Montana lettering is not the same as ours. But it does have the word Edition with the Montana name. We thought it was weird when we saw it and wondered how that got away with it. If I remember it is their edition for cold weather - hence the Montana reference.
Happy trails......................

Now we just saw this rig in a flash on the interstate but the only lettering I saw was "MONTANA" across the front of the rig. The letters were light tan or gold. I'd say that someone is running under a false identity if they're not a Keystone Montana. Not that it's illegal or anything like that.

Well you know the old say, "Imitation is the best type of flattery". So maybe it is for those that wish they could have a Montana.
Happy trails..................

Saw the 'New" MONTANA, Mountaineer Edition at the Pomona RV show. It's graphics are very classic looking & sharp & simple. It is white with black/silver grey graphics. The newest Montana graphics are in the brown tones--no more blues. We have seen one so far at a dealership. Hopes this gives added info.

I have the 06 and 05 brochure and the Montanas on the cover are identicle.
I pick up my 06 2955RL tomorrow and it is weird how Montana changed the Gross dry weights and carrying capacity of all the units. They don't show the 2950RK in the new brochure so I guess they dropped it. It shows the 06 2955RL weighing 200 pounds more than the 05 model and being able to carry 600 pounds less. These figures are confusing to me.

I'm curious, where did you have this graphic made or is it painted on?

Glenn, I have the original of that picture before being resized and reduced in quality, should you prefer to fit it to your site yourself. I'm on a very fast wifi and can email it to you. It's about a meg in filesize and 1600x1200. Just email me if you want it.
