Rain gutter over bedroom slide 3400RL

We picked up our new 3400RL about a month ago and we noticed that we were missing a rain gutter over the bedroom slide. We called the dealer which is five hours away from us and they told us that the 3400RL does not come with that. They said it only somes on the other three slides but if we want it on the bedroom slide they will order it for us and we will have to pay for it.

I would appreciate it if some 3400RL owners could take a look and let us know as we haven't seen another Monty to compare it with.

Thanking you in advance

Potvin, Your dealer is correct. We don't have one over the bedroom slide either. If you look at the unit the front end of the bedroom slide is fairly close to the top of the regular rain gutter. Perhaps the logic is there is not a need or it would be an overkill to have another gutter over this slide? In any case I've not had any problems with leaks and we've been in some very heavy rains with it.

We put on slide toppers so the lack of a gutter is not an issue.

Ditto with NJ Hillbilly, we have the slide toppers to. They are great as they keep from having to sweep of the slides before putting them in after staying under trees etc.

I dont have the gutter over the bedroom slide. This is the second full year of having the coach at the lake for 6 months at a time and I have not had any leaking anywhere on the coach. I leave my slides out all summer (bring them in once every three weeks or so to keep things lubed and operating smoothly).
