SHOODY workmanship -see photos

The person who installed the radio in my NEW Montana High Country cut thewrong part of the wall . In so doing that it was necessary to cut away the
support beam....which left sharp edges that cut thru my wire and shorted out the radio.
I tell you this in case your radio is buzzing with a similar problem

If I were you I'd discuss this with Keystone and at the very least make sure that picture is put in your file. Weakening a support stud on a rig that's going to suffer the shocks of today's roads is a problem in my opinion.

This is exactly right! I would certainly keep myself a copy of the pics but my dealer, and Keystone, would be fixing that stud - that is a problem about to happen if you're not lucky.

Their reply went from Customer service to East Caost Sales manager to Product manage and to Plant Manager.

Guess a few heads will shake (hope the trailer won't )

This morning I looked at ours with the morning dew still on. You can see where the wall studs are.
I'm afraid to take the speaker cover off...

The speakers come off easily with 4 screws and a razor blade around the edge scrapes away the sealant no problem taking it off but if you think there is a stud.... now is the time to fix it before it shorts out...
it's easy to do
Please post photos of what you see... And if indeed it turns out to be a stud... Email also to the production manager you see in my post

Suspect Daryles knows how to remove the speaker. Suspect he is afraid of what he will find when he does.

Yea ..but isn't better to find out in his time instead of at some camp ground .

It is not a question if it will happen to him it's more WHEN will it happen....hand writting is on the wall

FOOT NOTE..after taking out the 4 screws and razor blading around the speaker...you have to wedge it out a little at at time (use a butter knife) cause they use a clay like plumbers seal around the inside.

It you need more clay seal ( i did not i use rtv sealand around edges) it is sold at Lowes or Homo-depo in the weather stripping area of the store as a ROLL CAULKING.
